I barely eat. I mean I will have one meal a day. Just one. And it's usually not until like six in the evening. Somehow, I am not 110 pounds. I heard that as you age, your metabolism slows down, but this is ridiculous. I need a personal trainer and a nutritionist - stat.

On Saturday, Josh, Gabe and I had the pleasure of skating with some of those dudes from the twin cities. You know, those guys that are affiliated with Platinum Seagulls and Handjob. It was fun and I got to witness Chad Benson kill the curvy ledge and Munz take a shitter of a slam on the wallie triangle. I didn't get any skate photos, but here's some other Saturday related pictures for you.

As you already know, this is Dug (aka Gary). He's a fucker, but seemed to like the grip job dedication.

Before we went to the park, we played Guitar Hero II for what seemed like hours. On the left is Gabe with his pseudo-serious playing style. As you can see, Josh on the right has a much more playful, carefree style. I'm not sure which I prefer. Lets call it a draw. Both have appeal.

Oh, these guys? Dudes, no matter how you try to disguise those PBR's, they're still just PBR's. Come back soon.

After the park and after Josh and Gabe got back from being at the bar for 15 minutes, we had a banquet of delicious fish sticks. 44 of them to be exact. "You have tartar sauce?" - G. Chan.

Speaking of Gabe, he just sent me this clip highlighting some tricks that happened on Saturday night. It features Josh, Lord Cru, The Captain, Dan Stemper, Gabe and Myself.

I wonder if Munz and the rest of the MPLS dudes are still venturing over here. This question is asked due to the fact that it was 60 degrees out two days ago. Today we deal with this:

It took me more than an hour to make the normally 25 minute drive get to work today. Looks like the site is going to be wisled.com for the next few months. Get pumped.

Sagat vs. Bergeron

Last night Tim and I caught a two hour block of AFV where I witnessed one of the greatest clips ever. Tim missed it because he was off making some soup in a foam cup, and he will probably regret that decision for the rest of his life. This clip in question featured a pig biting a young kid in the naughtiest of zones, instantly breaking into tears, and everyone else standing around him laughing. How a person could deny that kind of comic genius, I do not know. I'm not speaking of Tim, of course, I'm speaking of Gabe who for some reason hates AFV. He must also hate America and kittens.

Anyway, here's the final installment of amazing and exciting weekend photos. Saturday we took it to the mall downtown to graze upon the tastiest subs this side of the mighty Mississip. Being from Illinois, Gabe was ultra impressed by the singing animatronic holiday bears. He couldn't conceal his excitement...

In fact, he got so excited that he was bouncing off the fences...

We were pretty stoked to try to skate this spot when we drove past it in the car. The tranny to fence looked perfect. Too bad you can barely roll on the asphalt part of the bank. Tim almost had a super high wallride on it, but the fence broke before he could land it. He was sad in the pants for the rest of the day.

It is supposed to snow tonight and then again tomorrow. That makes me miss summer. Summer was fun, as the above photo illustrates. We will miss thee. Tim took this photo. FYI.

I think that Mr. Toby got his dates all messed up. The dudes from the great white north are arriving. The WEEKEND WARRIORS crew will be in town. If you haven't seen there video your sleeping yo.

I guarantee we can drink more then these guys. Lutzka is coming to the skatepark but its at the end of the month. Here is a prime photo of the lad.

Well, if you skateboard, go to the finest establishment east of the mississippi Cream City Skatepark all other parks are for the x games.

Thirsty Day

I'm still ill. Not that kinda ill. This kinda ill. It really does suck. I got up multiple times last night to caugh up this kinda stuff. Not too fun, but at least I'm getting better. I don't think anyone really cares... I just wanted to make sure that you all knew that your body makes at least a cup of snot a day! Thats a fact! And don't you forget it.

...

The weather is changing. Looks like snow in the forecast. That may mean no skating for those of you hard core to skating when its freezing outside. BUT... it does mean that you can get your little fanny down to Cream City for the Lutzka demo. That's right! I said Greg Lutzka is gonna be at Cream City Saturday, Dec. 23rd. After which there is suppose to be a video preimere for the Oakley video Our Life. See the trailer here

...

Looks like Old dude went off without a hitch last night. Uncle Will seems a little bummed, but he does better buttery backside flips then just about anyone over that hip... or kickflip indys. You decide. Either way, I like your steez Willy!

...

I've got two angles for you kids today! One long lens and one fisheye... YEAH! Here you got Mr. Jack Richardson hittin a big switch pop shuv at that place that Josh pointed at yesterday as being "Dirty Palms". I'm not sure why it's called that either, but for another reason... seems to me that if you go there and all you got was dirt on your palms, you're lucky. That place should just be called Dirty. Cause everytime I leave there, thats what I am. Or maybe it's just cause I'm the only fool stupid enough to lay down on the asphalt to shoot a photo. Maybe both. Whatever... enjoy!

If I can't do the trick, its gay...
Posted by: Mr. Twister On: Nov 30 2006
Well, I should start things off by saying I did'nt make the cut on the photo session at the fake old dude last night. I guess I'm kinda glad because the tricks I did land were kinda gay. I think its cooler to do the tricks that aren't as trendy. Like, who in the fuck really wants to see a kickflip indy? Not me, and I do them anyways just because its a trick I can do. I mean its easier for me then a frontside 50-50 on a small curb. What the fuck am I talking about? Well here is a pretty sweet trick mike did the other night.

Well, you want to see a killa combo? Well, business up front and party in the back.

Dang, two u tubers in one day. That my new record!

Britney's Scary Clam

I'm not sure how to take this almost December, but still 60 degrees outside weather. Good sign, bad sign, it's all so confusing. When it was October and supposed to be perfect fall weather, it was cold as crap outside. A month later, and it's great outside. This is stupid. So is the fact that it gets dark at 4:30 and that it's raining out. Old Man Winter sure is a weird dude. He still has pretty good magic though.

I guess it really has come down to that. So little to say that I have to talk about the weather. That is sad. Not as sad as how scared seeing Britney Spear's nether, nether zones made me though. Also on today's do nots is drawing electric components in Autocad and then populating circuit boards with them. Just so you know.

Again, so proud to be from Wisconsin.

Skateboarding skate photos taken in Wisconsin should be sent here.

Sometimes I think about how weird it is when names for skate spots catch on between seemingly unconnected groups of skaters. I remember Pat Acuff telling me, what must have been around ten years ago, about a spot called "Dirty Palms". I didn't even end up going to the spot until years later. What that has to do with kids calling it "Dirty Palms" that are thirteen and are in no way connected to any of the older dudes that coined the name I have no idea. But it's still weird to me. Anyway, yeah, when you fall it makes you dirty. Especially your palms. I can appreciate such a utilitarian name.

Anyway, this is a photo of a nollie backside heelflip.

I can also appreciate a nosegrind with a party attitude. Even if dude's arm is entirely missing in action. Hey, whatever, go with the flow.

I'm not sure who this even is, but when is the last time you meloned into slime??

I am a strong believer in the phrase "walk it off". For example, last night I hung up on a blunt to fakie and went straight to flat on my wrist and hip. Walked it off. Skated some more and got really angry because I couldn't land my trick. Again, walked it off. However, there are just some times and places when that very credo shouldn't exist. This is one of them.

Josh and I were driving home from Cream City last week and saw that the police had blocked off Silver Spring drive. We went around and came upon the reason the street was blocked. As you can see from the photo on the left, some guy decided it was time to die and drove his truck off the top of that bridge. Unbeknownst to him, the wind and height were a perfect match and he landed the jump flawlessly. Unfortunately he didnt have enough of a landing pad and ran into the wall (right photo). Now you would think he would be dead or at least severely injured, but apparently dude just walked it off. Amazing. Oh, and for the record, Josh took those photos.

My good friend Derek over in Madison wants you all to go the premiere of the Alumni video in Madison on December 9th. With parts from Andrew Norris, Travis Erickson and Dave Mayhew, you cant go wrong. So go.

This is Dan. Dan drives a Saturn and loves to fish. Dan also loves to dress like Gallagher and drink his weight in Olympia Light Ice. Here he shows his love for wallies and clears the big-ish 2.

This is Mike. Mike drives a Suburban and makes good stencils. He also loves crisp new wheels and decided to make his own. Mike frontside nosegrinds the cement ledge that slopes downward.

Looks like it's Wednesday kiddies. Everyone knows what that means. You youngin's go to bed, and the old folk get together down at Cream City. For all you holiday shoppers out there, that means 25% off if you're over the age of 25 as well.

I think that we need a name for that age category as well. You're not a senior citizen or middle aged. And you're way past tween or juvenile delinquent. Any suggestions anyone? Email me if you have something.

Lord Cru... You gotta have a word for this!

...

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize that since Josh has bought his little slave flash, the quality of photos on this site has skyrocketed, as shown by this chart. I mean that in the most sincere way. I love the fact that we're getting more defined, three dimentional images. Be for long, you're gonna have to wear these to view the site properly.

I must also point out that the pogo-ball is way more extreme than this . Double Dutch anyone?

...

Another photo...

How about John Rock with a mean green cannonball?! I don't think too many of you have seen this one before. MMMmmm... Tasty!

Tuesday... feels like Monday
Posted by: Tobiah Deutsch On: Nov 28 2006
I am sick. I have a runny nose, a cough and watery eyes. I don't feel well. I did not go to work yesterday as a result. I took plenty of naps... you should too! I also watched this movie. I'm a snivelling, pile of poo when I'm sick. How'd I get sick you ask... I think the culprit looked kinda like this kid

Except the little rascal had snot all over her face rather than spaghetti. And when I mean all over... I mean all over. And I took it upon myself to walk around behind her with kleenex all weekend while she pulled on cats ears. By the way... how was your Thanksgiving?
...
I'm not sure who might read this, or who might care... but I've been sort of inspired to say that if you're looking to submit pictures you take to Josh and the crew to post, please be willing to take some constructive criticism (CC) from people. To the photographers of the world, if you take yourself too seriously, you won't get anywhere, but if you don't at least try to get better, you won't amount to anything either.

My point is... that if you see my photos on here, and you think they should be better, or that they're lame, please email me. I'd appreciate you're point of view. But at least have a honest reason as to why. If you just don't like it... I respect that, but let me know if you think that dude is too bright and blown out, or that you can't tell what trick he's doing, or that I should have shot from a different angle.

...

Photos you want... I don't know what to put up. I took this photo of Nick.. but for the longest time I thought his name was Dave. I think he was with Dave on this day. I don't know. Whatever. I dig it... blues are not photoshoped you fellow photo geeks. They're the real deal!

Speaking of Dave's this is the Beez... he had a cult. If you see him around, ask him about it. I also agree that "Midwest 4 Ever" is our slogan over here at Wiskate... Unoffically. Myabe I should say, it's my slogan. Toby's Slogan: Midwest 4 Eva. Word.
